There Goes the Neighborhood! Lecture by Verdis Robinson
Saturday, January 16 | 6:30 PM | 171’s Drake House Studio Theater

Funded by the New York Council for the Humanities’ Public Scholar Program, Assistant Professor of History and African-American Studies at Monroe Community College, Verdis LeVar Robinson, will tour, relive, and retell the historical transformation of an immigrant community in Rochester, NY to study the effects of racism and discrimination, which is argued to have caused uprisings.
