10AM & 12PM: George Washington Carver

Join us as Guy Peartree depicts George Washington Carver on the stage in the Drake House Theater. This historical portrayal will demonstrate Carver’s integral connection to science, folklore, religion, and African-American life between America’s Civil War and World War II. All ages will be inspired as Peartree “…lets the voices of our culture and imagination speak.”  Performance made possible in part by a grant from The Community Foundation of Elmira-Corning and the Finger Lakes, Inc.
