Getting Back to Business
A group exhibit of original artwork by regional artists

171 Cedar Arts Center is pleased to announce Getting Back to Business, a group exhibition of recent work by regional artists, curated by Patricia Jackson. The exhibit will be on display November 4 December 20, 2013. An opening reception will be held Thursday evening, November 7, from 5 7 pm. October 18 beginning at 5 pm. 171's Houghton Gallery is located at 155 Cedar Street (corner of First and Cedar Streets), Corning, NY. The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public.

This exhibit features artwork by local artists that participated in Business of Art workshops sponsored by The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes and Southern Tier Economic Growth in 2011 and 2013. Originally designed to meet the needs of visual artists, the 2013 workshop was expanded to include literary and performing artists.

The artists represented in this exhibit include Vani Akula, Bill
Boland, Yolanda Daliz, Monica Defendorf, Steve Duprey, Jennifer Fais, Gretchen Halpert, Beth Hylen, Patricia Jackson, Diane Janowski, Paige Kleinfelder, Bradford Leiby, James McCarthy, Paul McKingley, Vickie Mike, Allen Smith, Tom Tunnicliff, Debb VanDelinder, Bridget Bossart van Otterloo, and Karen Vogler.
